1. General Terms
By submitting this application, you agree to comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the Cumberland County Exhibition (CCEx). Acceptance of this application is at the sole discretion of the CCEx Vendor Committee.
2. Fees and Payment
- Vendor fees are due in full upon acceptance of application.
- Fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by CCEx.
- Payment must be received within 14 days of acceptance to secure your space.
- Failure to pay will result in cancellation of your space.
3. Insurance Requirements
- All vendors must carry a minimum of $2,000,000 commercial general liability insurance.
- Food vendors must provide proof of insurance naming CCEx as additional insured.
- Proof of insurance must be submitted at least 14 days before the event.
4. Food Vendor Requirements
- All food vendors must have valid Nova Scotia health permits.
- Food Safe certification is required for at least one person on-site.
- Inspections may be conducted during the event.
- CCEx reserves the right to approve all menu items.
5. Setup and Operations
- Setup must be completed before CCEx opens to the public.
- Vendors must remain open during all posted exhibition hours.
- Early breakdown is not permitted and may affect future applications.
- All spaces must be cleaned and debris removed upon departure.
6. Conduct and Compliance
- Vendors must conduct business in a professional manner.
- No subletting or sharing of space without prior approval.
- Music and amplification must be approved by CCEx.
- All signage must be professional and approved.
7. Liability and Indemnification
Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Cumberland County Exhibition, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from vendor's participation in the event.
8. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event may receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event are non-refundable.
- No-shows will not be considered for future events.
9. Weather and Force Majeure
CCEx is not responsible for losses due to weather or circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation due to force majeure, CCEx will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide partial refunds at its discretion.
10. Right to Refuse
CCEx reserves the right to refuse any vendor application, require changes to products/services, or remove any vendor from the premises for violation of these terms or any behavior deemed inappropriate.
