Christmas Tree Competition
In loving memory of Keith Moore of ShelBell Farm
A little bit of Christmas in the middle of the fair. Growers of every size, from big lots to small woodlots to backyard rows, are invited to bring their best trees to Oxford and put them up against the county's finest.

Entry Fee
$5 per tree
Enter one tree or several. The fee applies to each tree you bring.
Registration Deadline

There's no deadline to register. Sign up whenever you're ready, right up to drop-off.
Drop Off Your Trees
Tuesday or Wednesday
Tuesday, Sept 1 after 5:00 PM or Wednesday, Sept 2 before 8:00 AM.
Judging
Thursday Morning
Trees are judged the morning of Thursday, Sept 3, 2026.
On Display
Through Sunday
Trees stay up for fairgoers to enjoy until Sunday, Sept 6, the last day of the fair.

Commercial growers, woodlot owners and backyard growers are all welcome.
🎄 In Memory of Keith Moore
The Christmas Tree Competition is held in loving memory of Keith Moore of ShelBell Farm. Keith's love of the land and of a well-grown tree is something a lot of families in Cumberland County remember fondly, and this competition is our way of keeping that going year after year.
Every tree entered is a small tribute, and we'd love to see the barn full of them.

How It Works
Register
Complete the entry form above with your name, phone number, email and how many trees you plan to enter (1–10). There's no deadline, so sign up whenever you're ready.
Pay Your Entry Fee
Entries are $5 per tree. We'll confirm payment with you after you register. Cash, cheque or e-transfer to the Cumberland County Exhibition.
Drop Off Your Trees
Bring your trees to the Exhibition Grounds in Oxford Tuesday, Sept 1 after 5:00 PM or Wednesday, Sept 2 before 8:00 AM.
Judging & Display
Judging takes place Thursday morning, Sept 3. Trees stay on display for fairgoers to enjoy until Sunday, Sept 6.
