Josh lives in Linden, NS on his Beef & Dairy Farm – P&S Farms. Josh spends his spring, summer and fall on the farm doing custom cropping (hay, silage, wheat, oats and straw) along with regular upkeep of farm equipment and daily farm management.
In the winters Josh works hard keeping roads cleared as a snow plow operator in Pugwash, NS. This is Josh's first year as CCEX Chair Person, but he has been either a volunteer or director of the exhibition for the past 5 years.

Over the years the exhibition has been a staple end-of-summer activity for my whole family. We have been very active in participating in both the open horse and beef shows as well as 4-H. Our family operates our hobby farm, Breezy Ridge Farm, in the Streets Ridge area, and we have shown both horses and cattle across the Maritimes and beyond.
We always enjoy the exhibition for its family feel, but are also proud of how our projects and animals in Cumberland County are very competitive beyond our borders. My current focus is creating an inclusive environment for anyone either attending or competing.
Committees: Chair – Light Horse • Chair – Entertainment • Chair – Mud Stomp • Chair – Christmas Tree & Future Farmer Competitions (new this year) • Open Beef • Jr. Beef
My name is Holly Martin. I grew up in Amherst. I have spent 26 years working for Province of NS, in Child Welfare.
I feel I can help the CCEX BOD, as I have many years of Board and Committee Experience, most recently, 3 Terms on BOD for NSGEU, representing 39,000 members. Last year I joined CCEX BOD. As a Board, we have been able to improve and grow the exhibition, constantly looking for new opportunities, funding, and activities.
Last year, we were able to partially re-open the dining room, providing some home-cooked meals. My goal for this year is to offer 3 days with home-cooked meals.
I also committed to assist in organizing a Saturday CCEX Parade.

Committees: Sponsorship • Vendor Hall • Show 'N Shine • Youth Dairy Show
Kylynne is the organizer of the Kids Show 'N Shine.
My name is Bobi Guzzo. I'm a 3rd generation beef farmer and horse lover from Amherst, NS. Growing up, we raised purebred Hereford cattle, showing Herefords all over Canada. Over the years we converted to mainly a commercial herd, with a heavy Hereford influence still within it.
Having stepped away from cattle for a few years, I pursued my equestrian side and showed extensively all over NS and in NB in many open shows, with great success on my 9-year-old mare, Shezaradicalinvestment. One of my favourite achievements with her was winning the 2022 Nova Scotia Provincial All-Around Award – on a horse I broke and trained myself.
In 2024 I started a job working for a local beef farmer who just happens to have a herd of show cattle, and it re-sparked my love for cattle again. I'm slowly rebuilding my Hereford herd. You'll catch me roaming around the grounds helping with a little of everything – light horse, beef, horse pulls and anywhere in between – as well as competing in some of the light horse western classes and the commercial and Hereford shows on the beef side of things.
Cumberland County Exhibition is where I got my start showing cattle and horses, and it holds a very dear place in my heart. So when the opportunity arose to become a director and help build back up a place that is so close to my heart, it was a no-brainer. I will continue to do what I can to help this exhibition grow and thrive for years to come.
